     Phoebe Eliza Quintal was born on 11 June 1901 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She was the daughter of Nathan Sherman Quintal and Estelle Helena Bataille.¹ She married Arthur Ward Buffett, son of John Augustine Buffett and Agnes Robinson, on 15 August 1928 at Norfolk Island^G.¹ She died on 31 October 1951 at age 50 at Norfolk Island^G.¹
     Her married name became Buffett.¹ No children by either marriage.¹
