     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War, with Rhodesian Forces.1 He lived at Colworth, Addo, Cape Province, South Africa.1

     Commander Julian Liddell was born on 13 August 1904.1 He was the son of Sir Frederick Francis Liddell and Mabel Alice Magniac.1 He married Evelyn Katherine Johnson, daughter of Sir Robert Arthur Johnson, on 10 December 1930.1 He died on 28 February 1946 at age 41, accidentally killed on active service.1
     He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1

     Bridget Elvira Liddell was born on 7 January 1908.1 She is the daughter of Sir Frederick Francis Liddell and Mabel Alice Magniac.1 She married, firstly, Brigadier Peter Lockwood Smith-Dorrien, son of General Sir Horace Lockwood Smith-Dorrien and Olive Crofton Schneider, on 24 April 1931.2 She and Brigadier Peter Lockwood Smith-Dorrien were divorced in 1937.2 She married, secondly, Lewis Civval, son of Maurice Civval, on 26 January 1939.1 She married, thirdly, John Reeder Blandy in October 1979.1 She died on 14 November 1998 at age 90.1
     From 24 April 1931, her married name became Smith-Dorrien. From 26 January 1939, her married name became Civval. From October 1979, her married name became Blandy.

     William Baille Skene, 7th of Pitlour and 11th of Hallyards was born on 24 April 1838.1 He was the son of Patrick George Skene, 5th of Pitlour and 9th of Hallyards and Jessie Campbell.1,2 He married Lorina Charlotte Liddell, daughter of Very Rev. Henry George Liddell and Lorina Reeve, on 7 February 1874.3 He died on 10 June 1911 at age 73.3
     He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was a practising Barrister-at-Law.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kinross-shire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Fife.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Fife.1 He lived at Pitlour House, Strathmiglo, Fife, Scotland.1

     Alice Pleasance Liddell was born on 4 May 1852.2 She was the daughter of Very Rev. Henry George Liddell and Lorina Reeve.3 She married Reginald Gervis Hargreaves on 15 September 1880.2 She died on 15 November 1934 at age 82.2
     In 1862 she was the inspiration for Charles Dodgson (aka Lewis Carroll) to write Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.2 Her married name became Hargreaves.
