     Dorothy Tamworth is the daughter of Christopher Tamworth.¹ She married Thomas Cotton, son of Thomas Cotton and Lucy Harvey.
     Her married name became Cotton.¹

     James Butler, 9th Baron Caher was the son of Richard Butler and Jane Butler.² He married Sarah Nichols, daughter of Henry Nichols and Jane Purcell. He died in July 1788 at East Indies^G.² His will was proven (by probate) in 1794.²
     He lived at Fethard, County Tipperary, Ireland^G.² He succeeded as the 9th Baron Caher [I., 1583] on 10 June 1788.²
