     Heather Renwick Brown, Baroness Brigstocke was born on 2 September 1929.1 She was the daughter of S/Ldr. John Renwick Brown and May J. C. Campbell.1 She married, firstly, Geoffrey Reginald William Brigstocke in 1952.1 She married, secondly, William Hugh Griffiths, Baron Griffiths, son of Sir Hugh Ernest Griffiths and Doris Eirene James, on 22 January 2000.1 She died on 30 April 2004 at age 74 at GreeceG, as the result of a traffic accident.2
     She was educated at Abbey School, Reading, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 She was educated at Girton College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 She was a classics mistress between 1951 and 1953 at Francis Holland School, London, EnglandG.1 In 1952 her name was legally changed to Brigstocke. She was Latin teacher between 1962 and 1964 at National Cathedral School, Washington, D.C., U.S.A.G.1 She was the headmistress between 1965 and 1974 at Francis Holland School, Ivor Place, Marylebone, London, England.1 She was High Mistress between 1974 and 1989 at St. Paul's Girls' School, London, EnglandG.1 She was created Baroness Brigstocke, of Kensington in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea [U.K. Life Peer] on 21 May 1990.1 She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 2000.1 From 22 January 2000, her married name became Griffiths.1

     William Hugh Griffiths, Baron Griffiths was born on 26 September 1923.2 He was the son of Sir Hugh Ernest Griffiths and Doris Eirene James.2 He married, firstly, Evelyn Krefting, daughter of Colonel K. A. Krefting, in 1949.2 He married, secondly, Heather Renwick Brown, Baroness Brigstocke, daughter of S/Ldr. John Renwick Brown and May J. C. Campbell, on 22 January 2000.1 He married, thirdly, Margaret Anne Greta Borg on 25 July 2009 at All Saints' Church, Ockham, Surrey, England.3 He died on 30 May 2015 at age 91.3
