Brig.-Gen. Hon. Everard Baring was born on 5 December 1865.1 He was the son of Edward Charles Baring, 1st Baron Revelstoke of Membland and Louisa Emily Charlotte Bulteel.1 He married Lady Ulrica Duncombe, daughter of William Ernest Duncombe, 1st Earl Feversham of Ryedale and Mabel Violet Graham, on 15 September 1904.1 He died on 7 May 1932 at age 66.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Nile Expedition between 1897 and 1898, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.1 He was Military Secretary to the Viceroy of India between 1899 and 1905.1 He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) in 1903.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was Brigade Commander in 1916.1 He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in 1916 in the 10th Hussars.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Brigadier-General in 1918.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.1
