     Anne Seymour-Conway was born on 8 November 1748.1 She was the daughter of Field Marshal Rt. Hon. Henry Seymour-Conway and Lady Caroline Campbell.1 She married Hon. John Damer, son of Joseph Damer, 1st Earl of Dorchester and Lady Caroline Sackville, on 14 June 1767.1 She died on 28 May 1828 at age 79.1
     From 14 June 1767, her married name became Damer. She was a sculptor, including a bust of Charles James Fox for Napoleon, and a one of Nelson for HRH The Duke of Clarence.3 She was left Strawberry Hill by her cousin, Horace Walpole.3

     Hon. John Damer was born on 25 June 1744.2 He was the son of Joseph Damer, 1st Earl of Dorchester and Lady Caroline Sackville.1,2 He married Anne Seymour-Conway, daughter of Field Marshal Rt. Hon. Henry Seymour-Conway and Lady Caroline Campbell, on 14 June 1767.1 He died on 15 August 1776 at age 32, committing suicide by shooting himself.3,1

     William Duff, 1st Earl Fife was born in 1697.2 He was the son of William Duff and Helen Gordon.2 He married, firstly, Lady Janet Ogilvy, daughter of James Ogilvy, 4th Earl of Findlater and Anne Dunbar, on 19 September 1719 at Cullen, Banffshire, ScotlandG.3 He married, secondly, Jean Grant, daughter of Sir James Grant of Grant, 6th Bt. and Anne Colquhoun, in 1723.2 He died on 30 September 1763.2
     Circa 1724 he built the castle of Balvenie.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Banffshire between 1727 and 1734.2 He was created 1st Baron Braco of Kilbryde, co. Cavan [Ireland] on 28 July 1735.1 Between 1740 and 1745 he built Duff House.2 He was created 1st Earl Fife [Ireland] on 26 April 1759.1 He was created 1st Viscount MacDuff [Ireland] on 26 April 1759.1 He lived at Braco, Grange, Banffshire, ScotlandG.1
