Richard Bourke was born circa 1682.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Theobald Bourke, 3rd Lord Bourke, Baron of Brittas and Lady Honora O'Brien.1 He married, firstly, Marie Thérèse de Rattray, daughter of Georges de Rattray and Anne Maxwell, on 9 June 1713 at Saint-Germain, FranceG.1 He married, secondly, Marie O'Neill, daughter of Gordon O'Neill, in 1732.1 He died circa October 1750 at Saint-Germain, FranceG.1 He was buried on 4 November 1750 at Parish Church of St. Germain, Saint-Germain, FranceG.1
