Hon. Samuel James Butler was born on 13 December 1936.2 He was the son of Richard Austen Butler, Baron Butler of Saffron Walden and Sydney Elizabeth Courtauld.2,3 He married Lucilla Blanche Borthwick, daughter of Lt.-Col. Algernon Malcolm Borthwick and Edith Wylde Addison, on 24 June 1960.1 He and Lucilla Blanche Borthwick were divorced in 1977.1 He died on 6 November 2015 at age 78.4
Hon.
