Boleslaw I, King of Poland was born in 967.2 He was the son of Mieszko I, Duke of Poland and Dubrawka von Böhmen.1,2 He married Emnildis von der Lausitz, daughter of Dobromir Fürst von der Lausitz.2 He died on 17 July 1025.2
Boleslaw I, King of Poland also went by the nick-name of Boleslaw 'the Brave' (?)1 He succeeded as the Duke of Poland in 992.1 He succeeded as the Duke of Bohemia in 1003.3 He was deposed as Duke of Bohemia in 1004.3 He was created King Boleslaw I of Poland in 1025.1
