     Sir John Leman Rogers, 6th Bt. was born on 18 April 1780 at Plymouth, Devon, England^G.¹ He was the son of Sir Frederick Rogers, 5th Bt. and Jane Lillicrap.¹ He was baptised on 5 October 1780 at Cornwood, Devon, England^G.¹ He died on 10 December 1847 at age 67, unmarried.¹ He was buried at Cornwood, Devon, England^G.² His will was proven (by probate) on 3 May 1848.²
     He was educated in 1795 at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Rogers, of Wisdome, co. Devon [E., 1699] on 21 June 1797.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 2nd Dragoon Guards.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Callington between 1812 and 1813.² His last will was dated 11 June 1821. He held the office of Sheriff of Devon in 1838.² He lived at Blachford, Cornwood, Devon, England^G.¹

     Maj.-Gen. William Cooper Rogers was born after 1783. He was the son of Sir Frederick Rogers, 5th Bt. and Jane Lillicrap.¹ He married Caroline Bridges, daughter of W. Bridges, on 31 March 1835.¹ He died on 6 November 1857, without issue.¹

     Caroline Bridges is the daughter of W. Bridges.¹ She married Maj.-Gen. William Cooper Rogers, son of Sir Frederick Rogers, 5th Bt. and Jane Lillicrap, on 31 March 1835.¹
     From 31 March 1835, her married name became Rogers.¹

     W. Bridges lived at Laverstoke, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Mary Rogers was born circa 1772.² She was the daughter of Sir Frederick Rogers, 5th Bt. and Jane Lillicrap.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Henry Line Templer in 1793.^1,2 She died on 24 August 1851 at Teignmouth, Devon, England^G.^1,2
     From 1793, her married name became Templer.¹

     Lt.-Col. Henry Line Templer was born on 31 December 1763.² He was baptised on 22 January 1764 at Rotherhithe, Devon, England^G.² He married Mary Rogers, daughter of Sir Frederick Rogers, 5th Bt. and Jane Lillicrap, in 1793.^1,2 He died in 1818.²
     He gained the rank of Major in the 10th Dragoons (Prince of Wales.)² He gained the rank of Inspecting Field Officer in the Devon Volunteers and Yeomanry Cavalry.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Devon.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Devon.² He lived at Powderham House, Teignmouth, Devon, England^G.²
     He had three other sons and three other daughters.²
