     Major Cecil Bruce Blake was born on 4 January 1880.1 He was the son of Surgn.-Maj. Walter Blake and Ellen Gertrude Moriaty.1 He married Effie Howell, daughter of S. Earnshaw Howell, on 19 November 1909.1 He died on 22 June 1937 at age 57.1
     He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902.1 He fought in the First World War in 1914, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Field Artillery.1

     Sir John Rogers, 3rd Bt. was baptised on 31 August 1708 at Cornwood, Devon, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Sir John Rogers, 2nd Bt. and Mary Henley.1 He married Hannah Trefusis, daughter of Thomas Trefusis, on 28 October 1742 at St. Benet's, Paul's Wharf, London, EnglandG.1 He died on 20 December 1773 at age 65 at Blachford, Cornwood, Devon, EnglandG, without issue.1 He was buried on 24 December 1773 at Cornwood, Devon, EnglandG.1 His will was proven (by probate) on 15 February 1774.1
     He matriculated at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 13 August 1724.1 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1726/27 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He held the office of Recorder of Plymouth.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Plymouth between June 1739 and January 1739/40.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Rogers, of Wisdome, co.      Hannah Trefusis was born circa 1718.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Trefusis.1 She married Sir John Rogers, 3rd Bt., son of Sir John Rogers, 2nd Bt. and Mary Henley, on 28 October 1742 at St. Benet's, Paul's Wharf, London, EnglandG.1 She died on 18 April 1766.1 She was buried on 23 April 1766 at Cornwood, Devon, EnglandG.1 Her will (dated 8 September 1764) was proven (by probate) on 16 May 1766.1
     From 28 October 1742, her married name became Rogers.1 She founded the 'Lady Rogers Church Schools at Plymouth.1'

     Sir Frederick Rogers, 4th Bt. was baptised on 24 October 1716 at Cornwood, Devon, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Sir John Rogers, 2nd Bt. and Mary Henley.1 He married, firstly, Grace Cooper, daughter of Nathaniel Cooper-Leman and Mary Edisbury, on 19 April 1742 at East Stonehouse, Devon, EnglandG.1 He married, secondly, Catherine Vincent, daughter of Thomas Vincent, on 17 May 1768 at Stoke Damerel, Devon, EnglandG.1 He died on 7 June 1777 at age 60 at Bath, Somerset, EnglandG.1 He was buried on 13 June 1777 at Cornwood, Devon, EnglandG.1 His will was proven (by probate) on 2 July 1777.1
