Sir John Langham, 1st Bt. was born in 1584.2 He was the son of Edward Langham and Agnes West.3 He married Mary Bunce, daughter of James Bunce and Mary Holmedon, in 1620.2 He died on 13 May 1671.2
He was a Turkey merchant.2 He held the office of Alderman of London.2 He held the office of Sheriff of London in 1642.2 A royalist during the Civil War, and was twice imprisoned in the Tower of London for refusing with other City of London fathers to countenance publication of republican tracts.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for the City of London in 1654.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Southwark in 1660.2 He was created 1st Baronet Langham, of Cottesbrooke, co. Northampton [England] on 7 June 1660.1

John Gostwick was the son of Sir William Gostwick, 4th Bt. and Mary Boteler.1 He married Martha Hammond, daughter of Anthony Hammond.1 He died circa February 1715.1 He was buried on 8 March 1715 at Willington, Bedfordshire, EnglandG.1

Sir William Gostwick, 5th Bt. was the son of John Gostwick and Martha Hammond.1 He married Loveday Gostwicke, daughter of Edward Gostwicke and Margery (?), after 16 September 1760.1 He died circa May 1766, without issue.1 He was buried on 6 May 1766 at North Tawton, Devon, EnglandG.1 His will (dated 16 September 1760) was proven (by probate) on 9 June 1766.1
He gained the rank of officer in the Irish service.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Gostwick, of Willington, co. Bedford [E., 1611] circa January 1719/20.1
On his death, his baronetcy presumably became extinct.1

Loveday Gostwicke was baptised on 18 February 1727 at North Tawton, Devon, EnglandG.1 She was the daughter of Edward Gostwicke and Margery (?)1 She married Sir William Gostwick, 5th Bt., son of John Gostwick and Martha Hammond, after 16 September 1760.1 She died in 1786.1 Her will (dated 1786) was proven (by probate) in June 1786.1
