     Robert Dimsdale, 6th Baron Dimsdale is the son of Charles John Dimsdale, 5th Baron Dimsdale. He married Cecilia Jane Southwell.
     He gained the title of 6th Baron Dimsdale.

     David William Anthony Blyth Macpherson, 2nd Baron Strathcarron was born on 23 January 1924.² He was the son of James Ian Macpherson, 1st Baron Strathcarron and Elizabeth Marjorie Rhodes.² He married, firstly, Valerie Cole, daughter of T. Norman Cole, on 10 February 1947.² He married, secondly, Diana Hawtrey Deane, daughter of Commander Ralph Hawtrey Deane, on 18 May 1948.² He married, thirdly, Mary Eve Higgins, daughter of John Comyn Higgins, in 1974.¹ He married, fourthly, Diana Mabel Lloyd, daughter of Colonel Clifford Humphrey Lloyd and Phyllis Mary Agnew, on 2 November 1999.³ He died on 31 August 2006 at age 82.⁴
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Strathcarron, of Banchor, co. Inverness [U.K., 1936] on 14 August 1937.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Macpherson, of Banchor, co.      John Home Purves was born after 1775.² He was the son of Sir Alexander Purves, 5th Bt. and Mary Home.³ He married Ellen Power, daughter of Edmund Power, circa 1810.^4,2 He died before 1828.⁴

     Sir Edward Bayntun-Rolt, 1st Bt. was born circa 1710.¹ He was the son of Edward Rolt and Anne Bayntun.¹ He married Mary Poynter before 1743.¹ He died in January 1800.¹ His will was proven (by probate) in March 1800.¹
     He was given the name of Edward Rolt at birth.¹ In 1717 his name was legally changed to Edward Bayntun-Rolt after inheriting Spye Park from his maternal uncle, John Bayntun.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Chippenham between 1737 and 1768. He held the office of Groom of the Bedchamber to HRH The Prince of Wales in 1746.¹ He held the office of Surveyor of the Duchy of Cornwall in 1751.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Bayntun-Rolt, of Spye Park [near Calne], co. Wilts [Great Britain] on 7 July 1762.¹ He was a member of the Council to George, Prince of Wales in 1787.¹

     Edward Rolt was born in 1686.² He was the son of Sir Thomas Rolt and Mary Cox.^1,2 He married Anne Bayntun, daughter of Henry Bayntun and Lady Anne Wilmot, in 1708.^3,2 He died in 1722.¹
     He lived at Sacombe, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn on 14 October 1702.¹

     Sir Thomas Rolt was born in 1631.³ He was the son of Edward Rolt and Mary Cromwell.⁴ He married Mary Cox, daughter of Dr. Thomas Coxe.⁴ He died in 1710.³
     He was president of the East India Company.⁴ He held the office of Governor of Bombay.⁴ He held the office of President of the India Board.¹ He lived at Saccombe, Hertfordshire, England.⁵

     Anne Bayntun was born in 1689.² She was the daughter of Henry Bayntun and Lady Anne Wilmot.¹ She married, firstly, Edward Rolt, son of Sir Thomas Rolt and Mary Cox, in 1708.^3,4 She married, secondly, James Somerville, 12th Lord Somerville, son of James Somerville, 11th Lord Somerville and Margaret Murray, on 18 September 1724.² She died on 24 October 1734.²
     From 1708, her married name became Rolt. From 18 September 1724, her married name became Somerville.²
