     Her married name became Knyvett.¹

     Sir Thomas Parry held the office of Treasurer of the Household to Queen Elizabeth I.¹

     He succeeded as the 5th Lord Berners [E., 1455] on 9 February 1617/18, de jure.¹

     Katherine Burgh was the daughter of Thomas Burgh, 3rd Lord Burgh and Frances Vaughan.¹ She married Thomas Knyvett, son of Sir Thomas Knyvett and Elizabeth Bacon, on 28 February 1619/20 at St. Mary le Strand, London, England^G.¹ She died circa April 1646.¹ She was buried on 1 May 1646 at Ashwellthorpe, Norfolk, England^G.¹
     From 28 February 1619/20, her married name became Knyvett.¹

     Sir John Knyvett was the son of Thomas Knyvett and Katherine Burgh.¹ He married Mary Bedingfield, daughter of Sir Thomas Bedingfield and Elizabeth Hoskins, on 13 June 1655 at Darsham, Suffolk, England^G.¹ He died on 28 July 1673.¹ He was buried on 30 July 1673 at Ashwellthorpe, Norfolk, England^G.² His will was proven (by probate) on 13 February 1673/74.²
     He succeeded as the 6th Lord Berners [E., 1455] on 30 June 1658, de jure.¹ He was appointed Knight Bachelor on 23 April 1661.¹ His last will was dated 16 May 1673.

     Mary Bedingfield was the daughter of Sir Thomas Bedingfield and Elizabeth Hoskins.¹ She married Sir John Knyvett, son of Thomas Knyvett and Katherine Burgh, on 13 June 1655 at Darsham, Suffolk, England^G.¹ She died on 18 April 1713.^2,3 She was buried on 21 April 1713 at Ashwellthorpe, Norfolk, England^G.² Her will (dated 16 October 1710) was proven (by probate) on 5 August 1713.²
     From 13 June 1655, her married name became Knyvett.¹

     Sir Thomas Bedingfield was born in 1593.² He was the son of Thomas Bedingfield and Dorothy Southwell.² He married Elizabeth Hoskins, daughter of Charles Hoskins.² He died on 24 March 1661.²
     He was educated at Caius College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dunwich in 1621.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dunwich in 1626.² He was appointed Knight on 23 June 1638.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Suffolk in 1654.² He lived in 1660 at Darsham, Suffolk, England^G.¹

     He succeeded as the 7th Lord Berners [E., 1455] on 28 July 1673, de jure.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Dunwich between 1685 and 1687.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Eyre from 1689 to 1690.¹ He lived at Darsham Hall, Suffolk, England^G.¹
     On his death, the Lordship of Berners fell into abeyance until 1711.²

     Katharine Knyvett, Baroness Berners was baptised on 13 August 1658 at Darsham, Suffolk, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Sir John Knyvett and Mary Bedingfield.¹ She married, firstly, John Harris on 2 October 1685 at Darsham, Suffolk, England^G.¹ She married, secondly, Richard Bokenham on 5 January 1696 at Darsham, Suffolk, England^G.¹ She died on 29 November 1743 at age 85, without issue.¹ She was buried on 7 December 1743 at Weston Market, Suffolk, England^G.¹ Her will was proven (by probate) on 9 December 1747.¹
     From 2 October 1685, her married name became Harris.¹ From 5 January 1696, her married name became Bokenham.¹ She succeeded as the 8th Baroness Berners [E., 1455] in 1711, suo jure.¹ On 30 May 1720 the House of Lords resolved that she was entitled to the Barony of Berners.¹ Her last will was dated from 17 February 1740 to 12 November 1743.
     On her death, the Barony of Berners again fell into abeyance, for a further 90 years.¹
