     Swinburne FitzHardinge Berkeley was born on 20 October 1825.² He was the son of Hon. George Charles Grantley FitzHardinge Berkeley and Caroline Martha Benfield.² He married Eliza Maria Gray, daughter of John Gray, on 4 March 1862.¹ He died on 31 December 1865 at age 40.¹

     George Newton was the son of Samuel Newton and Jane Roger.² He married Charlotte Onslow, daughter of General Denzil Onslow and Sophia Lushington, in 1829.² He died in 1837.²

     William Hobart Houghton Thorne was born in June 1875 at Kensington, London, England^G.² He is the son of William Bezley Thorne and Annette M.² He married Marjorie Barbara James, 0.² He married Doris Jenny Jones, daughter of Henry Arthur Jones, in 1904.² He and Doris Jenny Jones were divorced in 1923.²
