     Mabel Lucy Macpherson-Grant was born on 15 September 1872.1 She was the daughter of Sir George Macpherson-Grant, 3rd Bt. and Frances Elizabeth Pocklington.1 She married Lt.-Col. Gerald Hugh Charles Madden, son of John Madden, on 6 June 1901.1 She died on 15 May 1951 at age 78.1
     From 6 June 1901, her married name became Madden.1

     Lt.-Col. Gerald Hugh Charles Madden was born on 26 July 1872.2 He was the son of John Madden.1 He married Mabel Lucy Macpherson-Grant, daughter of Sir George Macpherson-Grant, 3rd Bt. and Frances Elizabeth Pocklington, on 6 June 1901.1 He died on 12 November 1915 at age 43, while on active service.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Irish Guards.1

     Evelyn Nancy Stopford Dickin was the daughter of Major Edward Spencer Dickin and Norah Grace Stopford.1 She married Sir Ewan George Macpherson-Grant, 6th Bt., son of George Bertram Macpherson-Grant and Dorothy Eleanor Kellie-MacCallum, on 18 December 1937.1 She died on 18 November 1998.1
     Evelyn Nancy Stopford Dickin usually went by her middle name of Nancy.1 From 18 December 1937, her married name became Macpherson-Grant.1

     Sir William Bamburgh, 1st Bt. was the son of Thomas Bamburgh and Catharine Thimelby.1 He married, secondly, Mary Foard, daughter of Robert Ford and Frances Glemham, before 1606.1 He died on 18 July 1623.1 His will was proven (by probate) on 19 January 1623/24.1
     He was appointed Knight on 18 April 1603 at Grimston, Norfolk, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Yorkshire from 1607 to 1608.1 He succeeded as the 1st Baronet Bamburgh, of Howson, co. Kent [England] on 1 December 1619.1 He lived at Howsham, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 His last will was dated 25 January 1622/23.

     Thomas Fairfax, 1st Viscount Fairfax of Emley was born circa 1574.1 He was the son of Sir William Fairfax and Jane Stapleton.2 He married, firstly, Catharine Constable, daughter of Sir Henry Constable and Margaret Dormer, circa 1594.2 He married, secondly, Mary Foard, daughter of Robert Ford and Frances Glemham, circa 1 January 1626/27.1 He died on 23 December 1636 at Howsham, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Boroughbridge in 1601.2 He was appointed Knight in 1603.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hedon between 1620 and 1622.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hedon between 1624 and 1626.2 He held the office of Sheriff of Yorkshire from 1627 to 1628.2 He was created 1st Viscount Fairfax of Emley, co. Tipperary [Ireland] on 10 February 1628/29.2

     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Bamburgh, of Howson, co. Kent [E., 1619] on 3 June 1624.1
