     Sir Michael David Aykroyd, 4th Bt. was born on 14 June 1928.¹ He was the son of Colonel George Hammond Aykroyd and Margaret Roberts Aykroyd.¹ He married Oenone Gillian Diana Cowling, daughter of Donald George Cowling, on 19 April 1952.¹ He died on 21 March 2010 at age 81.²
     He was educated at U.S.A.^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Yorkshire Yeomanry.¹ He lived in 2003 at The Homestead, Killinghall, Harrogate, Yorkshire, North Riding, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Aykroyd, of Lightcliffe, co. Yorks [U.K., 1920] on 18 July 2007.³

     Oenone Gillian Diana Cowling is the daughter of Donald George Cowling.¹ She married Sir Michael David Aykroyd, 4th Bt., son of Colonel George Hammond Aykroyd and Margaret Roberts Aykroyd, on 19 April 1952.¹
     From 19 April 1952, her married name became Aykroyd.¹

     Donald George Cowling was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹

     Sir Henry Robert George Aykroyd, 5th Bt. was born on 4 April 1954.¹ He is the son of Sir Michael David Aykroyd, 4th Bt. and Oenone Gillian Diana Cowling.¹ He married Lucy Merlin Brown, daughter of Colonel Jack Houghton Brown and Merlin Audrey Allen, in 1975.¹
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England^G.¹ He lived in 2003 at Cushnie, Auchterless, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Aykroyd, of Lightcliffe, co. Yorks [U.K., 1920] on 21 March 2010.²

     Lucy Merlin Brown is the daughter of Colonel Jack Houghton Brown and Merlin Audrey Allen.^1,2 She married Sir Henry Robert George Aykroyd, 5th Bt., son of Sir Michael David Aykroyd, 4th Bt. and Oenone Gillian Diana Cowling, in 1975.¹
     From 1975, her married name became Aykroyd.¹

     Colonel Jack Houghton Brown was born in 1906.² He married Merlin Audrey Allen in 1948 at Chelsea, London, England.³ He died in 1982.²
