Sir Maurice FitzGerald, 2nd Bt. was born on 5 February 1844.2 He was the son of Sir Peter George FitzGerald, 1st Bt. and Julia Hussey.3 He married Amelia Catherine Bischoffsheim, daughter of Henri Louis Bischoffsheim, on 4 October 1882.2 He died on 22 October 1916 at age 72.2
He gained the rank of Captain in the Rifle Brigade.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet FitzGerald, of Valencia, co. Captain Lord Richard Wellesley was born on 30 September 1879.2 He was the son of Colonel Arthur Charles Wellesley, 4th Duke of Wellington and Kathleen Emily Bulkeley Williams.1 He married Louise Nesta Pamela FitzGerald, daughter of Sir Maurice FitzGerald, 2nd Bt. and Amelia Catherine Bischoffsheim, on 30 April 1908.2 He died on 29 October 1914 at age 35, from wounds received in action.2
