     Gerda Hargreaves Elwes was born on 22 April 1911. She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Cecil Elwes and Edith Muriel Hargreaves. She was baptised on 28 May 1911 at St. Peter's Church, Leckhampton, Gloucestershire, England.¹ She married James Stewart Carslaw on 4 December 1937.¹ She died on 29 May 2004 at age 93.²
     From 4 December 1937, her married name became Carslaw.²

     Diana Judith Elwes was born on 9 March 1913. She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Cecil Elwes and Edith Muriel Hargreaves. She was baptised on 30 April 1913 at St. Peter's Church, Leckhampton, Gloucestershire, England.¹ She married John Dennis Fowler Green on 2 May 1946.¹ She died in 1996 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.¹
     From 2 May 1946, her married name became Green.¹

     Susan Margaret Elwes was born circa 1872. She was the daughter of Henry John Elwes and Margaret Susan Lowndes-Stone-Norton. She married, firstly, Maj.-Gen. Sir Frederick Carrington on 18 November 1897. She married, secondly, Ernest Charles Trepplin, son of Charles Frederick Trepplin and Eliza Anne Bowen, on 10 September 1915. She died on 17 June 1921.
     From 18 November 1897, her married name became Carrington. From 10 September 1915, her married name became Trepplin.

     Maj.-Gen. Sir Frederick Carrington married Susan Margaret Elwes, daughter of Henry John Elwes and Margaret Susan Lowndes-Stone-Norton, on 18 November 1897. He died on 23 March 1913.
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹

     Ernest Charles Trepplin was born in 1856 at Egremont, Cheshire, England.¹ He was the son of Charles Frederick Trepplin and Eliza Anne Bowen.¹ He married Susan Margaret Elwes, daughter of Henry John Elwes and Margaret Susan Lowndes-Stone-Norton, on 10 September 1915. He died in 1932 at Hartley Wintney, Hampshire, England.¹

     Edward George Elwes was born circa 1850. He was the son of John Henry Elwes and Mary Bromley.

     Algernon Leveson Elwes was born on 4 February 1854. He was the son of John Henry Elwes and Mary Bromley. He married Cicely Mary Coope on 7 December 1882.
