     Mary Frances Monteith was the daughter of Robert Monteith.¹ She married Francis Ernest Kerr, son of Reverend Lord Henry Francis Charles Kerr and Louisa Dorothea Hope, on 4 October 1870.¹ She died on 6 September 1916.¹
     Her married name became Kerr.

     Robert Monteith lived at Carstairs, Lanarkshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Henry Francis Hobart Kerr was born on 1 September 1878.² He was the son of Francis Ernest Kerr and Mary Frances Monteith.² He married Gertrude Mary Anthony, daughter of James Anthony, on 18 November 1915.² He died on 15 December 1972 at age 94.¹
     He fought in the Boer War.² He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion, Cameronians.² He lived at Rawflat, Ancrum, Roxburghshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Gertrude Mary Anthony was the daughter of James Anthony.¹ She married Henry Francis Hobart Kerr, son of Francis Ernest Kerr and Mary Frances Monteith, on 18 November 1915.¹ She died on 2 September 1969.¹
     Her married name became Kerr.

     Lt.-Col. Francis Robert Newsam Kerr was born on 12 September 1916.¹ He was the son of Henry Francis Hobart Kerr and Gertrude Mary Anthony.¹ He married Anne Frederica Kitson, daughter of William Edmundstoun Kitson, on 7 October 1941.¹ He died on 19 October 1995 at age 79.¹
     He was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Palestine Campaign in 1939.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Scots.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1961.¹ He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Berwickshire in 1971.¹

     Monica Mary Cecil Kerr was born on 26 October 1917.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Francis Hobart Kerr and Gertrude Mary Anthony.¹ She married Group Captain William George Devas, son of Joseph Devas, on 14 November 1939.¹ She died on 5 December 2009 at age 92.²
     Her married name became Devas.

     Anne Margaret D'Arcy Kerr was born on 30 April 1923.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Francis Hobart Kerr and Gertrude Mary Anthony.^1,2 She married Christopher Bartle Hugh Scott, 12th of Gala, son of Philip Beaumont Frere and Jean Winifred Mary Makdougall Scott-Makdougall, on 16 September 1948.² She died on 14 October 1999 at age 76.²
     Her married name became Scott.

     David Anthony Francis Kerr was born on 26 May 1953.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Col. Francis Robert Newsam Kerr and Anne Frederica Kitson.¹ He married Julia Veronica Bertram, daughter of William Bertram, in 1975.¹

     Group Captain William George Devas is the son of Joseph Devas. He married Monica Mary Cecil Kerr, daughter of Henry Francis Hobart Kerr and Gertrude Mary Anthony, on 14 November 1939.¹
     He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (D.F.C.)¹ He was awarded the Air Force Cross (A.F.C.)¹ He gained the rank of Group Captain in the Royal Air Force.¹
