Rear-Admiral Hon. Frederick Thomas Pelham was born on 2 August 1808.1 He was the son of Thomas Pelham, 2nd Earl of Chichester and Lady Mary Henrietta Juliana Osborne.2 He married Ellen Kate Mitchell, daughter of Rowland Mitchell, on 26 July 1841.1 He died on 21 June 1861 at age 52.1
He was appointed Knight, Order of San Fernando.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He held the office of Lord of the Admiralty in 1859.1 He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral in the Royal Navy.1

Ellen Kate Mitchell was the daughter of Rowland Mitchell.2 She married Rear-Admiral Hon. Frederick Thomas Pelham, son of Thomas Pelham, 2nd Earl of Chichester and Lady Mary Henrietta Juliana Osborne, on 26 July 1841.1 She died on 8 January 1900.1

Admiral Frederick Sidney Pelham was born on 25 October 1854.1 He was the son of Rear-Admiral Hon. Frederick Thomas Pelham and Ellen Kate Mitchell.2 He married Louise Elizabeth Chads, daughter of Maj.-Gen. William John Chads, on 23 November 1886.1 He died on 19 October 1931 at age 76.1
He was Admiral-Superintendant at Gibraltar in 1909.1 He was Naval Aide-de-Camp to HM King Edward VII.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.1
