Henry David Reginald Margesson, 1st Viscount Margesson was born on 26 July 1890.1 He was the son of Sir Mortimer Reginald Margesson and Lady Isabel Augusta Hobart-Hampden.1 He married Frances Howard Leggett, daughter of Francis Howard Leggett and Elizabeth McLeod, on 29 April 1916.1 He and Frances Howard Leggett were divorced in 1940.1 He died on 24 December 1965 at age 75.1
