Heilwig von Hoya was the daughter of Otto II Graf von Hoya and Ermengard von Holstein-Schauenburg. She married Christian Graf von Oldenburg-Delmenhorst, son of Johann I Graf von Oldenburg-Delmenhorst and Cunigunde von Wölpe, before 7 April 1348. She died between 1365 and 1374.

Adolf VI Graf von Holstein-Schauenburg was born in 1256. He was the son of Gerhard I Graf von Holstein-Itzehoe and Elisabeth von Mecklenburg. He married Helene von Sachsen-Lauenburg, daughter of Johann I Herzog von Sachsen-Lauenburg and Ingeborg von Smaland, in 1297. He died in 1315.
