     Synolda Emily Thursby-Pelham was the daughter of James Augustine Harvey Thursby-Pelham and Alice Farquhar.¹ She married, firstly, Major Sir Robert James Milo Walker, 4th Bt., son of Captain Sir James Heron Walker, 3rd Bt. and Violet Maud Cecil Ives, on 5 June 1913.¹ She and Major Sir Robert James Milo Walker, 4th Bt. were divorced in 1922.² She married, secondly, Colonel Sir William Edmund Jaffray, 4th Bt., son of Sir William Jaffray, 2nd Bt. and Alice Mary Galloway, on 3 May 1923.¹ She married, thirdly, Guy Argles after 1936.¹ She and Colonel Sir William Edmund Jaffray, 4th Bt. were divorced in 1936.¹ She died on 27 June 1975.¹
     She was also known as Emily Synolda Pelham.² Her married name became Walker. From 3 May 1923, her married name became Jaffray. From after 1936, her married name became Argles.¹

     Christopher Charles Hogg is the son of Peter Beauchamp Hogg and Gabriel Argentine Alington.¹

     Captain Sir James Heron Walker, 3rd Bt. was born on 23 May 1865.² He was the son of Sir James Robert Walker, 2nd Bt. and Louisa Susan Marlborough Heron-Maxwell.³ He married Violet Maud Cecil Ives, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Cecil Robert St. John Ives and Hon. Susan Ann Talbot, on 12 June 1889.² He died on 25 November 1900 at age 35.²
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion, Hampshire Regiment.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Walker, of Sand Hutton, co. York [U.K., 1868] on 12 June 1899.²

     Violet Maud Cecil Ives was born in 1867 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.¹ She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Cecil Robert St. John Ives and Hon. Susan Ann Talbot.² She married, firstly, Captain Sir James Heron Walker, 3rd Bt., son of Sir James Robert Walker, 2nd Bt. and Louisa Susan Marlborough Heron-Maxwell, on 12 June 1889.² She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. George Davey Symonds on 15 June 1907.² She died on 24 October 1926.²
     From 12 June 1889, her married name became Walker. From 15 June 1907, her married name became Symonds.

     Lt.-Col. George Davey Symonds married Violet Maud Cecil Ives, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Cecil Robert St. John Ives and Hon. Susan Ann Talbot, on 15 June 1907.¹

     Maj.-Gen. Cecil Robert St. John Ives was born circa 1838 at London, England.² He was the son of Jeremiah Robert Ives and Emma Maynard.² He married Hon. Susan Ann Talbot, daughter of James Talbot, 4th Baron Talbot of Malahide and Maria Margaretta Murray, on 7 April 1864 at Malahide, County Dublin, Ireland.^3,2 He died on 11 July 1896.³
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Artillery.⁴ He lived at Moyns Park, Essex, England^G.¹

     Louisa Susan Marlborough Heron-Maxwell was born in 1841.² She was the daughter of Captain Sir John Heron-Maxwell of Springkell, 6th Bt. and Caroline Stewart.³ She married Sir James Robert Walker, 2nd Bt., son of Sir James Walker, 1st Bt. and Mary Denison, on 23 June 1863.³ She died on 13 January 1920.³
     Her married name became Walker.

     Captain Sir John Heron-Maxwell of Springkell, 6th Bt. was born on 7 March 1808.² He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Sir John Shaw Heron-Maxwell of Springkell, 4th Bt. and Mary Heron.² He married Caroline Stewart, daughter of Hon. Montgomery Granville John Stewart and Catherine Honyman, on 7 November 1833.¹ He died on 22 August 1885 at age 77.²
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.³ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Maxwell, of Springkell [N.S., 1683] on 27 August 1844.²

     Captain Arthur Reginald French, 5th Baron de Freyne of Coolavin was born on 3 July 1879.¹ He was the son of Arthur French, 4th Baron de Freyne of Coolavin and Lady Laura Octavia Dundas.² He married Annabel Angus, daughter of William Angus, on 18 November 1902.¹ He died on 9 May 1915 at age 35, killed in action.²
     He was educated at The Oratory School, Edgbaston, Warwickshire, England.³ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Fusiliers.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baron de Freyne of Coolavin, co. Sligo [U.K., 1851] on 22 September 1913.² He fought in the First World War.² He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion, South Wales Borderers.¹

     Annabel Angus is the daughter of William Angus.² She married Captain Arthur Reginald French, 5th Baron de Freyne of Coolavin, son of Arthur French, 4th Baron de Freyne of Coolavin and Lady Laura Octavia Dundas, on 18 November 1902.¹
     Her married name became French. After her marriage, Annabel Angus was styled as Baroness de Freyne of Coolavin on 22 September 1913.
