     Cassandra Agnes Chamberlayne was the daughter of Edmund Chamberlayne.1 She married Captain Sir John Hamilton, 1st Bt., son of John Hamilton and Mary Wright, on 3 October 1763.2 She died on 26 October 1821.1
     From 3 October 1763, her married name became Hamilton.

Admiral Sir Charles Hamilton, 2nd Bt.1

     Admiral Sir Charles Hamilton, 2nd Bt. was born on 25 May 1767.1 He was the son of Captain Sir John Hamilton, 1st Bt. and Cassandra Agnes Chamberlayne.1 He married Henrietta Martha Drummond, daughter of George Drummond and Martha Harley, on 19 April 1803.1 He died on 14 September 1849 at age 82.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Hamilton, of Trebinshun House, co. Brecon [G.B., 1776] on 24 January 1784.1 He held the office of Governor of Newfoundland in 1820.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1 He gained the rank of Admiral of the Red.1

     Colonel Sir Charles John James Hamilton, 3rd Bt. was born on 3 April 1810.1 He was the son of Admiral Sir Charles Hamilton, 2nd Bt. and Henrietta Martha Drummond.1 He married Catherine Emily Wynne, daughter of William Wynne, on 14 December 1833.1 He died on 23 January 1892 at age 81, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Hamilton, of Trebinshun House, co. Brecon [G.B., 1776] on 14 September 1849.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Scots Guards.1
