     Sir William Francis Cornewall, 7th Bt. was born on 16 November 1871.1 He was the son of Sir George Henry Cornewall, 5th Bt. and Louisa Frances Bayley.2 He died on 18 May 1962 at age 90.3
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1895 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1896 entitled to practise as a barrister-at-law.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1916.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Amyand, of London [G.B., 1764] on 21 January 1951.1 On his death his baronetcy became extinct.3
