     Victor Alexander Williamson was born on 28 June 1838.1 He was the son of Sir Hedworth Williamson, 7th Bt. and Hon. Anne Elizabeth Liddell.1 He died on 16 September 1924 at age 86, without issue.1
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practise as a barrister-at-law.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of COunty Durham in 1865.1 He held the office of Member of the Legislative Council (M.L.C.)
