Samuel Richard Tickell and Mary Morris.¹ He married Marie Georgina Templer on 11 July 1844 at Burdwan, Bengal, India.¹ He died on 20 April 1875 at age 63 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the 31st Native Infantry, Bengal Army.¹

     Marie Georgina Templer was born on 27 December 1825 at Calcutta, India.¹ She married Colonel Samuel Richard Tickell, son of Lt.-Gen. Samuel Richard Tickell and Mary Morris, on 11 July 1844 at Burdwan, Bengal, India.¹ She died on 23 June 1918 at age 92 at Ealing, London, England.¹
     From 11 July 1844, her married name became Tickell.¹
