     Rita Readhead was born on 3 November 1912.¹ She was the daughter of Sir James Halder Readhead, 2nd Bt. and Mary Evelyn Readhead.¹ She married Harry Michael Coatsworth, son of Harry Cecil Coatsworth and Ellen Bell Marr, on 26 April 1937.¹ She died on 9 November 1948 at age 36.¹
     From 26 April 1937, her married name became Coatsworth.¹

     She gained the rank of Section Officer in the Women's Auxiliary Air Force, during Second World War.¹ From 12 August 1944, her married name became Sevier.¹
