     Nigel Nels Ramsay was born on 13 March 1876.¹ He was the son of Sir James Henry Ramsay, 10th Bt. and Charlotte Fanning Stewart.¹ He died on 11 December 1899 at age 23 at Magersfontein, South Africa, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the Boer War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the The Black Watch.¹

     Alma Imogen Mary Ramsay was born on 15 November 1886.¹ She was the daughter of Sir James Henry Ramsay, 10th Bt. and Charlotte Fanning Stewart.¹ She married Sir Anthony Armitage Armitage-Smith, son of George Armitage Smith, on 24 February 1916.¹ She died on 22 October 1939 at age 52.¹
     From 24 February 1916, her married name became Armitage-Smith.¹

     Sir Anthony Armitage Armitage-Smith was the son of George Armitage Smith.¹ He married Alma Imogen Mary Ramsay, daughter of Sir James Henry Ramsay, 10th Bt. and Charlotte Fanning Stewart, on 24 February 1916.¹ He died on 31 October 1932.¹
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     Sir James Douglas Ramsay, 11th Bt. was born on 19 April 1878.¹ He was the son of Sir James Henry Ramsay, 10th Bt. and Charlotte Fanning Stewart.¹ He married Hope Anita Jane MacGregor, daughter of Lt.-Col. Alexander Donald MacGregor, on 21 March 1908.¹ He died on 14 March 1959 at age 80.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1899 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Perthshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Perthshire.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Scottish Horse Yeomanry.¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (F.R.I.C.S.)¹ He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1925.¹ He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Ramsay, of Bamff, co. Perth [N.S., 1666] on 17 February 1925.¹

     Sir Neis Alexander Ramsay, 12th Bt. was born on 4 October 1909.² He was the son of Sir James Douglas Ramsay, 11th Bt. and Hope Anita Jane MacGregor.¹ He married, firstly, Edith Alix Ross Hayes, daughter of Charles Frederick Hayes, on 5 October 1940.² He and Edith Alix Ross Hayes were divorced in 1950.² He married, secondly, Rachel Leonore Beatrice Urmston, daughter of Colonel Edward Brabazon Urmston, on 22 December 1952.² He died on 7 March 1986 at age 76.³
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.² He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.² He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Gordon Highlanders.² He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1945.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the South Africa Engineering Corps.² He was a mining engineer.² He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Ramsay, of Bamff, co. Perth [N.S., 1666] on 14 March 1959.¹ On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.³

     Hope Anita Jane MacGregor was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Alexander Donald MacGregor.¹ She married Sir James Douglas Ramsay, 11th Bt., son of Sir James Henry Ramsay, 10th Bt. and Charlotte Fanning Stewart, on 21 March 1908.¹ She died on 3 April 1962.¹
     From 21 March 1908, her married name became Ramsay.¹

     Lt.-Col. Alexander Donald MacGregor gained the rank of Lietuenant-Colonel in the 92nd Highlanders.¹

     David James Ramsay was born on 10 April 1916.¹ He was the son of Sir James Douglas Ramsay, 11th Bt. and Hope Anita Jane MacGregor.¹ He married Anne Sisson, daughter of George Sisson, on 21 December 1939.¹ He died on 17 June 1944 at age 28 at Normandy, France, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1944.¹ He gained the rank of Captain and Temporary Major in the Scottish Horse, Royal Artillery.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) posthumously.¹

     Anne Sisson is the daughter of George Sisson.¹ She married, firstly, David James Ramsay, son of Sir James Douglas Ramsay, 11th Bt. and Hope Anita Jane MacGregor, on 21 December 1939.¹ She married, secondly, Gilbert Charles Potter on 29 May 1946.¹
     From 21 December 1939, her married name became Ramsay.¹ From 29 May 1946, her married name became Potter.¹
