Colonel Charles Hugh Hodges Hodges-Nugent1

     Colonel Charles Hugh Hodges Hodges-Nugent was born on 11 December 1868.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Butler Peter Hodges Hodges-Nugent and Emma Burney.1 He married Jessie Wray, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Edward Wray, in 1904.1 He died on 2 December 1924 at age 55.1
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.1 He was Inspector of Iron Structures at the War Office between 1899 and 1905.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918, where he was mentioned in dispatches.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.) in 1916.1 He fought in the North-West Frontier in 1919, where he was mentioned in dispatches.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Engineers.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1920.1 He was Chief Engineer of East Command, India in 1923.1

     Jessie Wray is the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Edward Wray.1 She married Colonel Charles Hugh Hodges Hodges-Nugent, son of Sir Charles Butler Peter Hodges Hodges-Nugent and Emma Burney, in 1904.1
     From 1904, her married name became Hodges-Nugent.1

     Amelia Louisa Celeste Gwendolin Rogers was the daughter of Joseph Pigott Rogers.1 She married Peter Nugent Hodges-Nugent, son of George Stephen Nugent Hodges-Nugent and Ismena Costello, on 15 May 1872.1 She died in 1875.1
     From 15 May 1872, her married name became Hodges-Nugent.1

     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Marines.1

     Sir Thomas Moore Nussey, 2nd Bt. was born on 19 July 1898.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Willans Nussey, 1st Bt. and Edith Daniel.2 He married Viva Frances Talbot, daughter of Benjamin Talbot, on 28 November 1941.1 He died on 25 October 1971 at age 73.3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1919.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 17th Lancers.1 He graduated from King's College School, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1921 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the North Riding, Yorkshire in 1928.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Nussey, of Rishwood Hall, in the parish of Kirklington, co. York. [U.K., 1909] on 12 October 1947.2 His baronetcy became extinct on his death.3
