     Reverend Alfred Inigo Fox Suckling was born on 31 January 1796 at Norwich, Norfolk, England.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Alexander Fox and Anna Maria Suckling.1 He married Lucy Clementina Clarke, daughter of Samuel Clarke and Lucy Fox, on 31 January 1816 at Bergh Apton, Norfolk, England.1 He died on 3 March 1856 at age 60 at St. Helier, Jersey, Channel Islands.1
     He was given the name of Alfred Inigo Fox at birth.1 On 28 December 1820 his name was legally changed to Alfred Inigo Fox Suckling by Royal Licence.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.1 He graduated from Pembroke College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1824 with a Doctor of Laws (LL.D.)1 He was Curate at Mettingham, Suffolk, England.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Norfolk.1 He was Rector between 1839 and 1856 at Barsham, Suffolk, England.1
