     Commander John David Latimer Repard was born in 1921.1 He was the son of William John Repard. He married Hon. Peggy Bowyer, daughter of George Edward Wentworth Bowyer, 1st Baron Denham and Hon. Daphne H. M. Freeman-Mitford, on 24 April 1947.2 He died on 17 September 2011 at Watford General Hospital, Watford, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.1
     Commander John David Latimer Repard usually went by his middle name of David. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.) He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.
