Elizabeth Knowles was the daughter of Thomas Knowles. She married Sir John Sutherland Harmood-Banner, 1st Bt., son of Harmood Walcot Banner and Margaret Sutherland, on 6 October 1875.1 She died on 21 March 1903.1

Sir Harmood Harmood-Banner, 2nd Bt. was born on 28 October 1876.1 He was the son of Sir John Sutherland Harmood-Banner, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Knowles.1 He married Frances Cordelia Duberly, daughter of George Duberly.1 He died on 5 July 1950 at age 73.1
He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Montgomeryshire.1 He was educated at Wellington School, Wellington, Somerset, England.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 3rd South Wales Borderers and Royal Welch Fusiliers.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902.1 He fought in the First World War in 1914.1 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1915 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Montgomeryshire in 1920.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Harmood-Banner, of Liverpool, in the County of Lancaster [U.K., 1924] on 24 February 1927.1 He held the office of Mayor of Montgomery between 1928 and 1932.1

Sir George Knowles Harmood-Banner, 3rd Bt. was born on 9 November 1918.1 He was the son of Sir Harmood Harmood-Banner, 2nd Bt. and Frances Cordelia Duberly.1 He married Rosemary Jane Treston, daughter of Colonel Maurice Lawrence Treston, on 22 December 1947.1 He died on 23 October 1990 at age 71.1
