Lt.-Col. Sir Lovelace Stamer, 4th Bt. was born on 4 April 1859.1 He was the son of Rt. Rev. Sir Lovelace Tomlinson Stamer, 3rd Bt. and Ellen Isabel Dent.2 He married Eva Mary Otter, daughter of Robert Charles Otter and Marianne Eva North, on 29 September 1909.1 He died on 1 October 1941 at age 82.1
He gained the rank of Major in the 16th Lancers.1 He fought in the Boer War.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Stamer [U.K., 1809] on 29 October 1908.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Staffordshire Yeomanry.1 He was Aide-de-Camp to the Governor of Madras.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Staffordshire and Shropshire.1

Sir Lovelace Anthony Stamer, 5th Bt. was born on 28 February 1917.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir Lovelace Stamer, 4th Bt. and Eva Mary Otter.2 He married, firstly, Stella Huguette Binnie, daughter of Paul Burnell Binnie, on 1 January 1948.1 He and Stella Huguette Binnie were divorced in 1953.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Lucy Belben, daughter of Major T. A. Belben, on 15 January 1955.1 He and Margaret Lucy Belben were divorced in 1959.1 He married, thirdly, Marjorie June Noakes, daughter of T. C. Noakes, on 23 June 1960.1 He and Marjorie June Noakes were divorced in 1968.1 He married, fourthly, Elizabeth Graham Magrath, daughter of C. J. R.
