     Isabella Jane Brownlow was the daughter of Major Frederick Brownlow and Margaret Jane Amiraux.1 She married Alfred Benson Griffiths, son of John Rogers Griffiths, on 2 December 1856.1 She died on 19 March 1884, without issue.1
     From 2 December 1856, her married name became Griffiths.1

     Alfred Benson Griffiths was the son of John Rogers Griffiths.1 He married Isabella Jane Brownlow, daughter of Major Frederick Brownlow and Margaret Jane Amiraux, on 2 December 1856.1 He died on 29 May 1881.1
     He gained the rank of Ensign in the 82nd Regiment.1

     From before 1851, her married name became Essington.1 From 31 October 1851, her married name became Brownlow.1

     Colonel George Arthur Brownlow was born on 16 July 1805.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Charles Brownlow and Caroline Ashe.1 He married Cornelia Paulina Sandby, daughter of Thomas Sandby, on 12 April 1828.1 He died on 8 May 1869 at age 63.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Honourable East India Company Service.1

Field Marshal Sir Charles Henry Brownlow1

     Field Marshal Sir Charles Henry Brownlow was born on 12 December 1831.1 He was the son of Colonel George Arthur Brownlow and Cornelia Paulina Sandby.1 He married Georgiana King, daughter of W. C. King, in 1890.1 He died on 5 April 1916 at age 84, without issue.1
     He fought in the Punjab Campaign in 1848.1 He fought in the Bozdar Expedition in 1857.1 He fought in the Eusofzal Expedition in 1858.1 He fought in the China War in 1860.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1863.1 He fought in the Ambeyla Expedition in 1863.1 He fought in the Hazara Campaign in 1868.1 He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM Queen Victoria between 1869 and 1881.1 He fought in the Looshal Expedition between 1871 and 1872.1 He was a practising Assistant Military Secretary at Horse Guards between 1879 and 1889.1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.) in 1887.1 He gained the rank of Field Marshal.1
