     Antoinette de La Marck was born in 1542.¹ She was the daughter of Robert IV de La Marck.¹ She married Henri, 3rd Duc de Montmorency, son of Anne, 1st Duc de Montmorency and Madeleine di Savoia.¹ She died in 1591.¹

     Marguerite Montmorency was born in 1577.¹ She was the daughter of Henri, 3rd Duc de Montmorency and Antoinette de La Marck.¹ She married Anne de Lévis, Duc de Ventadour in 1593.¹ She died in 1660.¹

     Anne de Lévis, Duc de Ventadour married Marguerite Montmorency, daughter of Henri, 3rd Duc de Montmorency and Antoinette de La Marck, in 1593.¹ He died in 1622.¹

     Louise de Budos was born on 13 July 1575.¹ She married Henri, 3rd Duc de Montmorency, son of Anne, 1st Duc de Montmorency and Madeleine di Savoia, on 29 March 1593 at Agde, France.^1,2 She died on 26 September 1598 at age 23 at Château de Chantilly, Chantilly, France.¹

     Henri II, 4th Duc de Montmorency was born on 30 April 1595 at Chantilly, France.¹ He was the son of Henri, 3rd Duc de Montmorency and Louise de Budos.¹ He married Donna Maria Felicia Orsini, daughter of Don Virginio Orsini, 2nd Duca di Bracciano and Donna Flavia Damasceni Peretti, in 1615.² He died on 30 October 1632 at age 37 at Toulouse, France, beheaded.¹
     He succeeded as the Duc de Montmorency in 1614. He fought in the French Civil War in 1625.¹ He held the office of Maréchal de France in 1630.¹ He fought in the Battle of Avigliana in 1630.¹ He fought in the Battle of Castelnaudary on 1 September 1632, where he was defeatd and captured.¹

     Sara Herries was the daughter of Captain unknown Herries.¹ She married Reverend Joseph Aldrich Cotton in 1795.¹ She died in 1844.¹
     She was found on the doorstep of her spinster aunts with a note to say she was the daughter of their brother Capt Harries. She was then adopted by her aunts and inherited their fortune.¹ From 1795, her married name became Cotton.¹

     Captain unknown Herries is the son of Thomas Herries and Mary Philips.¹
