     John William Janson was born on 13 December 1831.¹ He was the son of William Janson and Eliza Jane Dearman.¹ He married, firstly, Louisa Burnaud, daughter of Lewis Burnaud, on 4 June 1856.¹ He married, secondly, Ellen Charlotte Chester, daughter of Frederick James Chester, on 14 April 1904.¹ He died on 25 January 1906 at age 74.¹

     Louisa Burnaud was born circa 1827 at Croydon, Surrey, England.² She was the daughter of Lewis Burnaud.¹ She married John William Janson, son of William Janson and Eliza Jane Dearman, on 4 June 1856.¹
     From 4 June 1856, her married name became Janson.¹

     Ellen Charlotte Chester is the daughter of Frederick James Chester.¹ She married, firstly, George Oliver Mellick Herron.¹ She married, secondly, John William Janson, son of William Janson and Eliza Jane Dearman, on 14 April 1904.¹
     Her married name became Herron.¹ From 14 April 1904, her married name became Janson.¹
