     John Leigh was the son of Ralph Leigh and Margaret Ireland.¹ He married Margaret Sanders, daughter of Sir Thomas Sanders, in 1574.¹ He died on 19 January 1576.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire.¹

     Margaret Sanders is the daughter of Sir Thomas Sanders.¹ She married, secondly, Sir William Killigrew.¹ She married, firstly, John Leigh, son of Ralph Leigh and Margaret Ireland, in 1574.¹
     Her married name became Killigrew.¹ From 1574, her married name became Leigh.¹

     Sir Thomas Sanders held the office of Sheriff of Surrey and Sussex.¹

     Sir William Killigrew married Margaret Sanders, daughter of Sir Thomas Sanders.¹

     Sir John Leigh was born in 1575.¹ He was the son of John Leigh and Margaret Sanders.¹ He married Mary West, daughter of Sir Thomas West, on 19 February 1601.¹ He died on 6 January 1612.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cornwall.¹

     Mary West was the daughter of Sir Thomas West.¹ She married Sir John Leigh, son of John Leigh and Margaret Sanders, on 19 February 1601.¹ She died in 1614.¹
     From 19 February 1601, her married name became Leigh.¹

     Sir Thomas West held the office of Sheriff of Hampshire.¹

     Thomas Leigh was born on 28 November 1605.¹ He was the son of Sir John Leigh and Mary West.¹ He married Mary Fleming, daughter of Sir Thomas Fleming, in 1623.¹ He died on 10 March 1640 at age 34.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Hampshire.¹

     Mary Fleming is the daughter of Sir Thomas Fleming.¹ She married Thomas Leigh, son of Sir John Leigh and Mary West, in 1623.¹
     From 1623, her married name became Leigh.¹
