     Major Sir Bertram Clough Williams-Ellis was born on 28 May 1883.³ He was the son of Reverend John Clough Williams-Ellis and Ellen Mabel Greaves.³ He married Mary Amabel Nassau Strachey, daughter of John St. Loe Strachey and Henrietta Mary Amy Simpson, on 31 July 1915.¹ He died in 1978.³
     He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Institute of British Architects (F.R.I.B.A.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ Major Sir Bertram Clough Williams-Ellis usually went by his middle name of Clough.³ He gained the rank of Major in the Welsh Guards.¹

     Mary Amabel Nassau Strachey was born on 10 May 1894.¹ She was the daughter of John St. Loe Strachey and Henrietta Mary Amy Simpson.¹ She married Major Sir Bertram Clough Williams-Ellis, son of Reverend John Clough Williams-Ellis and Ellen Mabel Greaves, on 31 July 1915.¹
     Mary Amabel Nassau Strachey usually went by her middle name of Amabel.¹ From 31 July 1915, her married name became Williams-Ellis.³ She was an author and journalist.¹

     Susan Williams-Ellis was born on 6 June 1918 at Guildford, Surrey, England.¹ She was the daughter of Major Sir Bertram Clough Williams-Ellis and Mary Amabel Nassau Strachey.¹ She married Euan Cooper-Willis in 1945.¹ She died on 27 November 2007 at age 89 at Portmeirion, Gwynedd, Wales.¹
     She was educated at Chelsea Art School, Chelsea, London, England.¹ From 1945, her married name became Cooper-Willis.¹ She was founder of Portmeirion Potteries.¹

     Christopher Williams-Ellis was born in 1923.¹ He was the son of Major Sir Bertram Clough Williams-Ellis and Mary Amabel Nassau Strachey.¹ He died in 1944 at Monte Cassino, Italy, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Euan Cooper-Willis married Susan Williams-Ellis, daughter of Major Sir Bertram Clough Williams-Ellis and Mary Amabel Nassau Strachey, in 1945.¹

     Reverend John Francis Robert Ryall was born in 1930.¹ He was the son of James Edward Ryall and Monica Mary Frances Coode-Adams.¹ He died on 8 January 2018.¹
