     Percy Howe Browne was born on 4 December 1868.1 He was the son of Major Lord Richard Howe Browne and Agnes Elizabeth Amesbury.1 He married Alice Tremlett Mariller, daughter of Captain Charles HEnry Mariller, on 16 February 1897.1 He died on 16 December 1940 at age 72.1
     He was awarded the Commander, Order of Avis of Portugal.1 He was awarded the Chevalier, Order of Leopold of Belgium.1 He gained the rank of Staff Captain and Brevet Major.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches three times.1
