     Margaret Bruce was the daughter of Robert Bruce, 1st of Wester Kennet.¹ She married Archibald Bruce, son of David Bruce, on 16 June 1568.¹ She died in September 1579.¹

     Gertrude Evelyn Augusta Douglas was born on 19 January 1883.¹ She was the daughter of Hon. Edward William Douglas and Hon. Evelyn Anne Trefusis.¹ She died on 2 February 1966 at age 83, unmarried.¹

     Lt.-Col. George Windsor-Clive was born on 6 April 1878.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hon. George Herbert Windsor-Clive and Hon. Gertrude Albertina Trefusis.¹ He married Sidney Guendolen Lacaita, daughter of Charles Carmichael Lacaita and Mary Annabel Doyle, on 19 November 1912.¹ He died on 25 June 1968 at age 90.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1901.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1919.¹ He was with the Inter-Allies Control Commission between 1920 and 1922.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ludlow between 1923 and 1945.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Coldstream Guards.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) in 1947.¹

     Sidney Guendolen Lacaita was the daughter of Charles Carmichael Lacaita and Mary Annabel Doyle.¹ She married Lt.-Col. George Windsor-Clive, son of Lt.-Col. Hon. George Herbert Windsor-Clive and Hon. Gertrude Albertina Trefusis, on 19 November 1912.¹ She died on 5 July 1935.¹
     Her married name became Windsor-Clive.

     Charles Carmichael Lacaita was the son of Sir James Philip Lacaita.² He married Mary Annabel Doyle, daughter of Sir Francis Hastings Charles Doyle, 2nd Bt. and Sydney Williams-Wynn, on 2 June 1885.² He died on 17 July 1933.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dundee.² He lived at Selham House, Petworth, Sussex, England.¹

     Mary Annabel Doyle was the daughter of Sir Francis Hastings Charles Doyle, 2nd Bt. and Sydney Williams-Wynn.^1,2 She married Charles Carmichael Lacaita, son of Sir James Philip Lacaita, on 2 June 1885.² She died on 28 January 1924.²
     From 2 June 1885, her married name became Lacaita.²

     Sir Francis Hastings Charles Doyle, 2nd Bt. was born on 21 August 1810 at Nunappleton, Yorkshire, England.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir Francis Hastings Doyle, 1st Bt. and Diana Elizabeth Milner.^2,3 He married Sydney Williams-Wynn, daughter of Rt. Hon. Charles Watkin Williams-Wynn and Mary Cunliffe, on 12 December 1844.⁴ He died on 8 June 1888 at age 77 at 46 Davies Street, London, England.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1832 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He wrote the book Miscellaneous Verses, published 1834.¹ He was a practising barrister in 1837.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Doyle, of Boscombe, Wiltshire [U.K., 1828] on 6 November 1839.³ He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1843 with a Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.)¹ He wrote the book The Private of the Buffs.³ He wrote the book The Return of the Guards and other Poems, published 1866.¹ He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1867 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was professor of poetry between 1867 and 1877 at Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹

     Brigadier Robert Charles Windsor-Clive was born on 29 April 1919.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. George Windsor-Clive and Sidney Guendolen Lacaita.¹ He married Olive Mary Longueville, daughter of Lt.-Col. Francis Longueville and Gertrude Venables, on 29 December 1949.¹ He died on 14 October 2003 at age 84.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded and was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was Brigadier of the 3rd Battalion, Coldstream Guards between 1956 and 1959.¹ He gained the rank of Brigadier between 1961 and 1964 in the Coldstream Guards.¹ He lived in 2003 at The Pleck, Ashford Carbonel, Shropshire, England.¹
