     Major Carleton Salkeld married Octavia Johnstone-Douglas, daughter of Arthur Henry Johnstone-Douglas and Jane Maitland Hathorn-Stewart, on 8 August 1908.¹ He died on 30 March 1959.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 10th Hussars.¹

     Stair Agnew Gillon was born on 8 September 1877.² He was the son of Andrew Gillon, 10th of Walhouse and Isabella Agnew Hathorn-Stewart.^1,2 He married Nina Johnstone-Douglas, daughter of Arthur Henry Johnstone-Douglas and Jane Maitland Hathorn-Stewart, on 10 April 1919.³ He died on 11 August 1954 at age 76.¹
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England.² He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1900 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, in 1903 with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)⁴ He was a practising Advocate in 1903.² He gained the rank of Captain in the King's Own Scottish Borderers.² He fought in the First World War.² He was Solicitor, Inland Revenue for Scotland between 1919 and 1942.²

     Andrew Gillon, 10th of Walhouse was born on 22 April 1823.² He married, thirdly, Isabella Agnew Hathorn-Stewart, daughter of Stair Hathorn-Stewart and Helen Sinclair, on 22 January 1874.² He died on 17 June 1888 at age 65.²

     Christopher John Carruthers was born on 23 December 1906. He was the son of Lt.-Col. Francis John Carruthers and Olive Christian Johnstone-Douglas. He married Elizabeth Anne Long, daughter of Captain Clement Loftus Long and Mary Florence Jackson, on 15 July 1933. He died in 1938.

     Major Hon. Henry Balfour of Dunbog was the son of John Balfour, 3rd Lord Balfour of Burleigh and Isabel Balfour.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Dragoons.¹ He lived at Dunbog, Fife, Scotland^G.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Fife [Scotland] between 1702 and 1707.^1,2

     Simon Francis Carruthers was born on 25 April 1911. He is the son of Lt.-Col. Francis John Carruthers and Olive Christian Johnstone-Douglas.² He married, secondly, Rosemary Elizabeth Gilbey, daughter of Geoffrey Holland Gilbey and Violet Mary Reid, on 1 July 1957.¹
