     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Indian Staff Corps.¹

     Katherine Rosemary Douglas Pilkington was born in 1911.¹ She was the daughter of Alan Douglas Pilkington.¹ She married Major Nicholas Daubeney Charrington, son of Eric Charrington and Rose Evelyn Daubney.¹ She died in 1989.¹
