Kathleen Rachel Clay was born on 27 March 1914 at London, England.1 She was the daughter of Sir Charles Travis Clay and Hon. Violet Robson.1 She married Aymer Robert Maxwell-Hyslop, son of Lt.-Col. Robert George Bingham Maxwell-Hyslop, in 1938.1 She died on 9 May 2011 at age 97.1
