     John Brisbane of Bishopton is the son of John Brisbane and Elizabeth Lindsay.2 He married Elizabeth Hamilton, daughter of John Hamilton, 3rd of Broomhill.1
     He lived at Killincraig, Largs, Ayrshire, Scotland.2 On 20 May 1549 he was served heir to the lands of Killincraig.2
