     Sir Henry Rich, 1st Bt. was born illegitimately in 1803.1 He was the son of Admiral Sir Thomas Rich, 5th Bt.1 He married Julia Tomkinson, daughter of Reverend James Tomkinson and Julia Nesham, on 7 September 1852 at Parish Church, Acton, Cheshire, England.1,2 He died on 5 November 1869.1
     He was created 1st Baronet Rich in 1863.
