     Mary Brooke was the daughter of Thomas Brooke.1 She married Reverend Riou George Benson, son of Moses George Benson and Charlotte Riou Browne, on 11 April 1861 at Honley, Yorkshire, England.1
     From 11 April 1861, her married name became Benson.1

     Moses George Benson was born circa 1798.1 He was the son of Ralph Benson and Barbara Lewin.2 He married Charlotte Riou Browne, daughter of Lt.-Col Lyde Browne and Dorothy Riou, on 11 April 1826 at St. Mary, Great Malvern, Worcestershire, England.1 He died on 11 April 1871 at Lutwyche Hall, Church Stretton, Shropshire, England.1
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Shrophsire in 1836.1

     Charlotte Riou Browne was born in 1800.2 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col Lyde Browne and Dorothy Riou.2 She married Moses George Benson, son of Ralph Benson and Barbara Lewin, on 11 April 1826 at St. Mary, Great Malvern, Worcestershire, England.1 She died on 8 July 1875 at Fern Bank, Malvern, Worcestershire, England.2
     From 11 April 1826, her married name became Benson.1
