     Jonathan William Patrick Aitken was born on 30 August 1942.¹ He is the son of Sir William Traven Aitken and Hon. Penelope Loader Maffey.¹ He married, firstly, Lolicia Olivera Azucki, daughter of O. A. Azucki, in 1979.¹ He and Lolicia Olivera Azucki were divorced in 1998.² He married, secondly, Hon. Joan Elizabeth Rees-Williams, daughter of David Rees-Williams, 1st Baron Ogmore and Alice Alexandra Constance Wills, on 25 June 2003 at St. Matthew's School, Westminster, London, England^G.³
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts, in law (M.A.) (honours.)¹ He was Private Secretary to Rt. Hon. Selwyn Lloyd between 1964 and 1966.¹ He wrote the book A Short Walk on the Campus, published 1966.¹ He was a foreign correspondent for the Evening Standard between 1966 and 1971.¹ He wrote the book The Young Meteors, published 1967.¹ He wrote the book Land of Fortune: a Study of Australia, published 1969.¹ He wrote the book Officially Secret, published 1970.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)      Alice Gage was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir John Gage and Philippa Guildford.¹ She married Sir Anthony Browne, son of Sir Anthony Browne and Lady Lucy Neville. She died circa 1540.

     Rt. Hon. Sir John Gage was born in 1479.¹ He was the son of William Gage and Agnes Bolney.¹ He married Philippa Guildford, daughter of Sir Richard Guildford.¹ He died on 18 April 1556.¹

     Joseph Magnus Aitken was born on 26 February 1878.¹ He was the son of Reverend William Cuthbert Aitken and Jane Noble.¹ He married Katherine Margaret McAffee, daughter of John McAffee, in 1902.¹ He died in February 1950.
     Joseph Magnus Aitken also went by the nick-name of Mauns.¹ He was Manager of the Royal Bank of Canada at Toronto, Ontario, Canada^G.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain and Paymaster in the 208th Canadian Expeditionary Force.¹

     Lady Jane Radcliffe was born in 1533. She was the daughter of Robert Radcliffe, 1st Earl of Sussex and Lady Margaret Stanley.^1,2 She married Anthony Browne, 1st Viscount Montagu, son of Sir Anthony Browne and Alice Gage, circa 1551.¹ She died in 1553, in childbed.
     Her married name became Browne.

     Elizabeth Norton was the daughter of Edward Norton.¹ She married Thomas Baldwin, son of William Baldwin and Elizabeth Jenkes.¹ She died in November 1574.¹
