     From 1 September 1921, her married name became Bethell.¹ From 15 January 1931, her married name became Jones.¹

     David Jardine Bethell was born in 1893 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.¹ He was the son of Colonel Edward Hugh Bethell and Gertrude Hill.² He married Erica Gwytherne de Grey, daughter of Thomas de Grey, 6th Baron Walsingham and Marion Gytherne-Williams, on 1 September 1921 at St. James, Paddington, London, England.¹ He died on 11 February 1938 at Wau, Sudan.¹
